"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of theends
of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
-Isaiah 40:28-31 (ESV)
Why stay motivated? Because of who God is!! In Exodus Moses had quite a messy past, but experience with God at that burning bush changed the direction of his life. Can I ask you a question? What do you know so far about the God that you serve? I know Him to be the great I am! He is wonderful! Nothing compares to Him! In Christ you can truly trust and rely on for every single facet of your life. Living a fulfilled life and allowing Christ to lead is such a blessing! We have no reason to carry any weights in life. This can only happen however, if our focus is set to drawing closer to the presence of the Lord. And this must never end…
We are always moving whether we realize it or not. But its up to us to move in the direction led by the Holy Spirit. God’s leading will manifest only if we stay hungry for it. My prayer for myself and for you is that we stay captivated by a lifestyle that is reliant on God, like the very oxygen we need to breathe. I am asking the Lord to help me to be strategic with my time and resources so that His will in my life can be executed with excellence! I want God to get the glory from the tasks I have before me, whether they are little or large.
Sometimes when I sync my iPhone I realize I have utilized soo much of my storage space I don’t have room to add anything new. I have two choices I can make, I can either delete what I no longer need or purchase more storage space so that I can fully utilize my device. In life we have to delete or be willing to pay the price to access all that’s available to us through our relationship with Christ. In my own life right now, I know God is continually requiring both of these things. I am nervous about all the adjustments that have been coming my way, but I know I am in good hands. Drawing closer to God and His Will is what you and I were created for!
Pray this prayer with me:
Lord, Have your way in me! Enlarge my capacity for your presence to rule over my thoughts and decision making. I want to fulfill your will for me with confidence. Strengthen me by your Holy Spirit and I will give your name all the glory and praise. Amen.
