Is God Asking You for More?
Prepared for More
Have you ever been soo overwhelmed, yet grateful for a new task God is calling you to? Just when it seems you have found your rhythm; you see God sending clear confirmation that it is time to do something new. He is calling you to take a step out of your comfort zone and walk by faith.
These situations are a reminder of how much God loves us and desperately wants us to participate in building His kingdom. He wants to use you and me to bring His kingdom glory. Often God will prepare you undercover, but only when He is ready, will He begin to reveal His purpose.
Despite our shortcomings and inadequacies, God will use us. He will revolutionize our lives and mindsets when we look to Him to empower us for whatever lies ahead. God longs to shine bright through our lives to impact the world around us. And whatever problems we face that we deem as hindrances, they are minuscule to His divine plan for us.
Made for This It can still be a struggle to say yes to God’s will. However, you and I have been saved to perform all the works of Christ. No matter how inconvenient God’s plans may feel, He knows the time that is best. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
You Have a Responsibility We must choose to honor Christ when we feel like and when we do not. We have been bought with a price! Jesus gave His all on calvary and what He requires of us is to yield every aspect of our lives to Him. Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen! God is calling all of us to “go.” Trust that as you step forward, He will always walk with you.
You Are Being Renewed I get it. You truly do not feel that you have the bandwidth in your life for another thing. But there is nothing that God calls you to, that He has not already prepared you for. “Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16) Even when we don’t realize it, every day with Jesus is making us stronger. We have all that we need, and even more!
